Lilydale to Warburton is one of Australia's iconic rail trails, meandering through Yarra Valley between Dandenong Ranges and Great Dividing Range.
The idea is to take the time to enjoy the spectacular views of Yarra Ranges National Park, passing through beautiful bush land, wineries and farmland along the way. The track follows the old railway line through the towns of Wandin, Woori Yallock, Seville, Launching Place, Yarra Junction, Wesburn, Millgrove and finishes in Warburton. It's a landscape of kangaroos, bird life and wildflowers between Lilydale and Mt Evelyn, and butterflies and tree ferns on the way to Wandin. You can read more about Warburton Rail Trail here.
38 km each way.
